The Artist Behind the Cone
I started drawing henna as a child, watching my mother and grandmother trace delicate patterns on each other's hands during celebrations. What began as quiet admiration grew into a lifelong devotion — and eventually, the decision to make it my life's work.
Over ten years ago, I picked up my first henna cone and never put it down. Since then, I've had the privilege of adorning hundreds of brides, guests, and individuals who wanted to carry something beautiful on their skin. I train continuously, study traditional Indian, Arabic, and contemporary fusion styles, and I treat every session as a collaboration — not a transaction.
My studio in Cary is a calm, welcoming space where you can relax while I work. I use only 100% natural henna — no chemicals, no black henna, no shortcuts. The stain develops over 24 to 48 hours into a rich, deep burgundy that lasts up to two weeks.
